Team Building Race Formats
This team building activity is best suited for groups larger than 10 and lasting 45 minutes or longer. Each team creates a team name to reflect their racing mission and attitude. Teams strategize to utilize each individual’s strengths. Each member will drive for a period of time before pitting to allow another team member to take over the racing. Teams will complete driver changes while the race is running. The team with the most number of laps at the end of the race is the winner. Following the victory lap, the event host will direct a podium presentation. Endurance races give some flexibility with how the races can run, if the group chooses to customize the format. A few options include the start, time and number of pit stops.
A variety of team building activities will need to be completed individually by team members to work towards their strengths. Moving between go karting, slot cars, tire bowling and corn hole, team members will rotate participation in each event for an overall tallied score. This format is ideal for smaller teams of 10 or less.
We Celebrated our 1st Team Building Event. Some people took it a wee bit more serious than others, others drove like we were driving Miss Daisy and that was fun too. Fun was had by all!
